1st Penarth Scout Group Open.

Centenary Trees Planted.

Trees have been planted in the gardens of PADSAC by the Les Pugh’s Own Explorer Scouts to celebrate one hundred years of Scouting in Penarth. Our sincere thanks go to Phil Perks of the PADSAC Management Committee who organised this project.

Hog Roast 7th June 2008

PADSAC Hog Roast Evening at the Penarth Yacht Club raises Ł1200

The Management Committee of our local Penarth and District Scout Activity Centre held a fund raising Hog Roast and entertainment evening at the Penarth Yacht Club. With tickets sold out weeks before the event the full house enjoyed the ambience of a summer’s evening on Penarth front, entertained by local band The Snorklers and fed well on spit roasted hog.

Quiz Night 8th November 2008.

The PADSAC Management Committee is running a Quiz Night on Saturday 8th November 2008 at 7.30pm here at the PADSAC to raise funds for the development of premises. Tickets Ł5 per person. For Tickets contact Lesley Mullan on 029 2025 6732 or Ken Pile 029 2070 6235

Introduction

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Penarth and District Scout Activity (P.A.D.S.A.C.) website. We aim to provide the latest information about PADSAC, what goes on there and what is available in the surounding area.. We will also tell you how you can take part in activities and read about our projects. By doing this we hope to get more members and support for the PADSAC based 1st Penarth Scout Group and the Les Pugh’s Own Explorer Scout Unit whilst extending the hand of friendship around world

PADSAC is the home of the newly formed 1st Penarth Scout Group .

PADSAC is a purpose built Activity Centre that supports Scouting in the Penarth District which covers Penarth, Dinas Powys, Llandough and Sully. It has a large hall, Trophy Room, Small Meeting Room, Explorer Den and the District Scout Shop Agency.
Set in its own landscaped grounds, it has on-site parking.
